A self-taught visual artist and illustrator, Isha Nagar completed her Bachelors in Communication Design from the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Delhi (2006-2010), and a short course on Graphic Storytelling with Royal College of Art, London (2023). Her work ranges from watercolour artworks, surrealistic charcoal art, and oil paintings. ​Her inspirations include René Magritte, Frida Kahlo, André Breton, Amrita Sher-Gil, Marjane Satrapi, Haruki Murakami, among others. In 2014, she started her own illustration based venture, Tathya which received recognition at Comic Con 2016-2018. Since 2015, she has been a part of Saatchi Art collections. She loves creating illustrations for children's picture books, chapter books and YA readers.
